Thinklabs One Control Buttons Explained

The control buttons on the Thinklabs One protrude from the exterior wall of the stethoscope and enable you to operate the device. The following images identify each control button, and the list to the right of each image offers a quick description of the operations that can be completed with each button. Some operations use a single control button while other operations use a combination of two buttons.

NOTE: Press any of the four control buttons for two seconds to power on the device. When the LEDs come on, release the button.

Alt Button Functions
  • From an on position, press and hold Alt + Minus for two seconds to power off the device.
  • Press and release Alt once for each minute you would like to add to the auto-shutoff time (maximum of ten minutes). For more information, see Setting Auto-shutoff.
  • Press Alt 12 times consecutively to disable auto-shutoff. For more information, see Disabling Auto-shutoff.
Filter Button Functions
  • From an on position, press and hold Filter for two seconds to cycle through the available filters.
  • Click Filter once to switch between two favorite filters.

Minus Button Functions
  • Press and hold Alt + Minus for two seconds to power off the device.
  • Press and release Minus once to decrease the volume by one unit.
  • Press and hold Minus to quickly cycle through volume levels until the device reaches the minimum volume.
Plus Button Functions
  • Press and release Plus to increase volume by one unit.
  • Press and hold Plus to quickly cycle through volume levels until the device reaches the maximum volume.
